The 330 kV Jingxuan I line cable designed and completed by China Energy Construction Shaanxi Institute was put into operation with electricity. The line is the longest 330kV cable line in China, and also the longest land-based ultra-high voltage cable line in China. 330kV Jingxuan Ⅰ cable commissioning also marks the commissioning of all Xi'an North-Xuanwu 330kV line projects designed and completed by Shaanxi Institute.
Xi'an North - Xuanwu 330 kV line from Jingwei 750 kV substation to Xuanwu 330 kV substation, the construction of the project took 3 years, the new double overhead line with the same tower 20.258 km, the new Jing Xuan Ⅰ back to the cable line 14.780 km, the new Jing Xuan Ⅱ back to the cable line 14.655 km.
The project, as a key project of Xi'an's power grid, is an important part of Xi'an's northern power grid unbundling project. The operation of the project can send the power from Jingwei 750 kV substation directly to Xuanwu 330 substation in Xi'an's northern load center, which greatly relieves the power supply pressure of Xi'an's northern power grid, realizes efficient regional dispatch, and solidifies the grid foundation for Shaanxi's power grid during the peak season.
